Service terms, clearly stated.
These terms apply when you ask Row & Behold, operated by Jonny Bottomley in the UK, to provide fixed-price spreadsheet clean-up, quality assurance or related documentation.
1. The agreement
Your project is based on the package, file, rules, outputs, price and delivery timing confirmed with you in writing before payment. The approval email and Stripe checkout identify the agreed service. Public examples and package descriptions are guides; the written project scope controls your order.
Your private job page is the main record of the current scope, payment status, delivery target, files and service messages. Keep its access link private and tell us promptly if you believe it has been shared.
2. What you provide
You are responsible for supplying lawful access to the file, accurate instructions, a clear explanation of what one row represents and any rules needed to resolve ambiguity. Please remove unnecessary confidential information and never send card details, passwords or live-system credentials.
You should keep your own source copy. Row & Behold also works from a copy and does not intentionally overwrite the original supplied file.
3. Scope, changes and delivery
Work covers only the rows, columns, files, rules and outputs agreed before payment. New files, extra rows, changed structures or new decision rules may require a revised scope, price or delivery date. A revision means correcting work against the rules originally agreed, not adding new scope.
Any delivery date is the date confirmed for your project. It may need to move if required information, access or decisions are delayed; any change will be explained as soon as reasonably possible.
4. Payment
Payment is a one-off payment for the approved package and scope, processed securely by Stripe. Row & Behold does not receive or store your full card details. Work is not treated as booked until payment has been verified.
5. Judgement, automation and client decisions
Scripts, formulas, automation or AI-assisted tools may be used to support profiling, transformations and documentation. Outputs are manually reviewed. Where the correct answer cannot be determined from an agreed rule, the item is returned as an exception for your decision rather than silently guessed.
You remain responsible for checking that the delivered file is suitable before importing it into a live system, making business decisions from it or replacing another record.
6. Problems with the service
If something does not match the agreed rules, email hello@rowandbehold.co.uk promptly with a clear description. Row & Behold will review the issue and, where appropriate, correct the work, repeat the affected part of the service or offer another remedy required by law.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation and refund requests are handled under the Refunds & cancellations policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable statutory rights.
8. Privacy and contact
Personal information and client files are handled as described in the Privacy notice. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@rowandbehold.co.uk.
